Blackwood has a deep and rich ruby-red appearance, this unique creation exudes a delicate hint of citrus on the nose.
As you savour it, you'll experience a delightful merging of chocolate and vanilla, perfectly complementing the natural sweetness of the triple-distilled single malt.
The distinct finish, characterized by a gentle peppery note, is a testament to the Tasmanian pepper berries that are intertwined with the essence of the tree.
From the Distiller
Blackwood is aged in cubes made from Tasmanian Blackwood sourced from a swampy forest in North West Tasmania. For every tree harvested, one must be replanted. It is a sustainable success story.
Blackwood has a mature, malty nose with hints of citrus. On the palette, it is a chocolate and vanilla bomb, very complex, with a peppery finish.
