Internationally renowned winemakers - New Zealander Brent Marrio and Australian Darren De Bortoli combine their considerable talents with grapes from personally selected vineyard sites to produce the truly individual 3Tales Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
Sauvignon Blanc fruit was harvested at optimal ripeness, pressed and cold settled. Juice was inoculated with varietally specific yeasts followed by a long, cool fermentation allowing tropical notes to develop. The wine was bottled early to promote freshness.
Bright lemon-yellow in colour, the 3 Tales Sauvignon Blanc 2022 exudes ripe primary aromas of gooseberry and passionfruit with a mineral tone. The mouth-filling palate demonstrates fresh citrus, nectarine and honeyed flavours balanced by Marlborough’s vibrant acidity, leading into a long, lingering finish.
