Grant Burge is a 5th Generation Vigneron. The history of the Burge family and their long association with winemaking in the region can be traced back to March 1855, when noted tailor John Burge immigrated to Lyndoch in Australia with his wife Eliza and their two sons, Meshach and Henry.

This elegantly structured and beautifully balanced wine is a wonderful example of cool climate Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc.

The 5th Generation Sauvignon Blanc has a density of flavour, with textural interest following to a crisp and smooth palate.

The finish exhibits crunchy natural acidity for excellent vibrancy with the persistence of flavour that makes this wine a genuine crowd-pleaser.

A vibrant wine that goes well with fresh fish and salad dishes.

Sav Blanc?

Has all the characteristics of a Riesling! Minerals, dry and acidic.
Needs to be drunk at room temperature to appreciate the citrus notes at the end. Don't drink it too cold.

Very satisfying

Purchased based upon it's win in Germany. It's a wonderful sauv blanc for an afternoon with a few dips and friends. Not a patch on Cloudy Bay, equals Dog Point and Craggy Range, better than Phillip Shaw or Shaw&Smith. I'll buy again as it's great to have an Australian Sauv blanc in the house not ruined by the addition of semillion.

Great gift idea!

Got a bottle of Verve personalised and it was a great surprise. Can’t comment on the taste because she won’t open it. Lol

Stoneleigh Wild Valley Pinot Gris

A most drinkable pinot gris with a slightly sweeter flavour without the harsher overtones of similar products.
