Our Notes
Pours a lovely bright ruby red with a haze that speaks to a hands-off winemaking process. Cherry, basil and rhubarb to it, quaffable with plenty of varietal character coming through.

From The Winemaker
A big sweet Pinot Noir, generous middle palate and excellent length. Aromatics of cherry, rhubarb and purple flowers; the palate walks the fine line between red and dark fruits, silky tannin, slippery mouthfeel. A blend across vineyards creates a broader nose and a soft fuller palate.
About the Winery
As winemakers for T'Gallant, husband-and-wife duo Kathleen Quealy and Kevin McCarthy carved out a real niche both for the Mornington Peninsula and for the Pinot Gris grape, previously rarely planted in Australia but now a best-seller.Now working under a label named for Kathleen, the pair continue to focus on pinot, the Peninsula and on maximally-handcrafted ones, often taken from and named for a single vineyard. Italian varietals and techniques are a point of interest for the couple, as are sustainable winemaking techniques.
