This is a voluptuous wine with great mid-palate expression, layers of flavour and yet great balance.

Fresh red berry fruits are cradled across the palate by mocha and vanilla spice flavours from high-quality oak.

The barrel fermentation results in a wine that has well-integrated fruit and oak and harmonious, elegant flavours and a long persistent finish.

For over fifty years seahorses have been the symbol of Taylors family winery. On first glance, winemakers and marine scientists seem like unlikely allies. But they do face a common problem - climate change. Seahorses, much like grapevines, are indicator species that raise the alarm for serious climate-related issues. It's very important we do what we can to reverse their population decline before it's too late.

At national and global scales, Taylors partner with two organisations that are working to protect seahorses and secure thriving populations of these quirky fishes.
