Our Notes

A fruity-funky skin-contact field blend that's made with a great deal of respect for natural processes - field blend, wild yeast, skin contact, unfiltered, with a good amount of time on lees. The easygoing result is a perfect example of growing category of minimal-intervention skin-contact wines.

From The Winemaker

A field blend that has spent a bit of time in old oak after a few weeks of skin contact. Sav forward, this drop is both funky and fresh with saladbowls-ful of tropical fruit and frangipani.

Uncomplicated fruit punch for a BBQ in the park.

About the Winery

Sav Blanc?

Has all the characteristics of a Riesling! Minerals, dry and acidic.
Needs to be drunk at room temperature to appreciate the citrus notes at the end. Don't drink it too cold.

Very satisfying

Purchased based upon it's win in Germany. It's a wonderful sauv blanc for an afternoon with a few dips and friends. Not a patch on Cloudy Bay, equals Dog Point and Craggy Range, better than Phillip Shaw or Shaw&Smith. I'll buy again as it's great to have an Australian Sauv blanc in the house not ruined by the addition of semillion.
