The Wire Walker is garnet red in colour. Dark berry fruits dominate the aroma and carry though onto the palate. A plush palate with depth of fruit and savoury spice. Sumptuous fruit framed by elegant supple tannins.

Philip Shaw was named after its founder, a winemaker of no small renown and one of the first to see the potential in NSW's hilly Orange region, with its cool nights and warm summers. Balanced, elegant reds in classic Australian varietals are a mainstay, but the winery's whites are just as lovely.

19 crimes

Although the 19 crimes blend is by far my favourite, I was keen to try the whole Red series, The Shiraz was very nice and I would definitely recommend this and the other 19 crimes to anyone 🙃
